MOLSON AND TAXIGUY ARE TAKING CARE

Molson Canada and TAXIGUY Inc. both of Toronto have teamed up to form an interesting new service. The two companies have launched a service called 1-888-TAXIGUY, a province-wide network of taxicab companies linked through one single phone number. The 1-888-TAXIGUY service is available in 35 cities across Southern Ontario. The service works by dividing Canada up into areas based on area codes. When a customer calls the 1-888-TAXIGUY number, the call is directly dispatched to a taxicab partner in that area. To promote the new service from Molson and TAXIGUY Inc., a teaser campaign ran up until yesterday. The service now available, is being supported with a continuation of the campaign using posters in bathrooms of bars and restaurants across Southern Ontario. A Molson team will also be traveling across the province promoting the service at bars and restaurants with prizes and give-aways. The campaign was created by Sun Ray World Communications of Toronto. The launch of 1-888-TAXIGUY falls in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of Molson Canada's responsible use program, Molson Take Care. PR for Molson Canada is handled by Thornley Fallis Communications.
