FUSION CREATIVE SUCCEEDING IN GROWTH

FUSIONcreative, a Toronto-based design firm that is part of The Communiqué Group, has achieved such success that the firm is moving in new directions and a new office. In an announcement made last week, the firm is becoming an independent Envoy business that will be led by Paul Haft as president. FUSION has also announced two new pieces of business. Armstrong World Industries of Lancaster, Penn., chose FUSION over four U.S.-based agencies to handle the global identity for its commercial flooring and ceiling divisions. Steelcase USA of Grand Rapids, Michigan, has also chosen the firm to develop a national communications plan to ensure every sales presentation reflects the Steelcase brand. FUSION won the business over two U.S. agencies. The U.S. parent company's decision to have FUSION pitch was based on the success of the firm's work for Steelcase in Canada based in Markham, Ontario. The 35 full-time employees of the growing firm have moved out of the Communiqué space they held and are currently waiting in a temporary space while their new headquarters are completed in early September.
