Jason Kinsella will be joining the offices of Ranscombe & Co. as an art director at the end of the month. Most recently Kinsella was working at Fauveshaus advertising where he held the same position. Serge Rancourt has been nominated to take the position of president and chief operating officer of Publicis Canada. The announcement was made by Yves Gougoux, president and chief executive officer. Gougoux will assume the role of chairman and will remain chief executive officer of the company. Rancourt is leaving his post as director of both Young & Rubicam and Wunderman Cato Johnson operations in Germany to oversee all operations of Publicis in Canada and be responsible for all of its communication activities. Roger Ferguson has been appointed managing director, Palmer Jarvis DDB Digital. Ferguson will be responsible for all Canadian Interactive services, including the day-to-day national operations of Palmer Jarvis DDB Digital offices in Toronto and Vancouver. In addition to his responsibilities, Ferguson will also oversee the Enteractive and Diva Post operations in the corporate offices of DDB Group Canada. Prior to joining Palmer Jarvis, Ferguson was general manager at Interactive/Vancouver.
