FINANCIAL POST GETS A NATIONAL LOOK

The Financial Post Magazine is getting a new design and being relaunched as National Post Business with the September 1999 issue. The magazine will have all new staff and will be led by editor Tony Keller, formerly of the editorial board of The Globe and Mail. The new look for National Post Business is being created by Karen Simpson, a former art director with Saturday Night. The new magazine will offer editorial looking at the world of business and offer personal financial advice and commentary. The magazine will increase in size to 9 inches x 10.75 inches, offer an easy to read format and feature the use of higher grade paper for both the cover and interior pages. With the May 1999 issue of the magazine, circulation was 230,000. The September relaunch of the magazine will also find it available on the shelves of newsstands as well as an insert in the National Post newspaper.
