WHITE ROSE UPDATE

Citing "overwhelming response," White Rose Home & Garden Centres of Markham, Ontario has announced it is extending its "Planting for the Future" promotion by one week to allow more communities to enter the contest. The new deadline is May 19. The 33 winning communities, the identities of which will be announced on May 21, will receive gardens to help beautify the areas. One garden has already been awarded to St. Andrew's United Church in Markham.
