BBDO PICKS UP FOR 7UP

The Television Bureau of Canada held its annual Bessies Awards for television advertising yesterday at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto. The highest honors, the Best of Show Single and Best of Show Campaign, were both awarded to BBDO Canada for its 7UP campaign. The campaign consisted of two 60 second spots, "Tribe" and "Beach". "Tribe" was awarded the Best of Show Single. In addition to the Best of Show awards, BBDO was also awarded three gold awards for the "Tribe" and "Beach" singles and for the overall 7UP campaign. Also presented with and taking home gold Bessies were: Ogilvy & Mather, Leo Burnett, Ammirati Puris Lintas, Palmer Jarvis DDB, Young & Rubicam, and Gee, Jeffery & Partners.
