MOTT'S MAKING MORE MIXERS

Beverage company Mott's is expaning its line of Mr. & Mrs. T cocktail mixers with the launch of three new flavors: Tom Collins, Whiskey Sour and Sea Breeze, a new cranberry and grapefruit flavor. Less than two years ago, Mott's introduced the Mr. & Mrs. T mixers and Rose's Lime and Grenadine cordials to the Canadian market. Mott's new flavors are geared toward adults age 25-50. They fall into the "long drinks" category of beverages intended to be mixed with other drinks or alcohols such as gin or vodka. The complete line of Mott's Mr. & Mrs.T mixers includes: Bloody Mary, Pina Colada, Margarita and Strawberry Daiquiri-Margarita, plus the new Tom Collins, Whiskey Sour and Sea Breeze. The line features a new label design to strengthen brand awareness and to create a graphic connection with Mott's Clamato. The mixers and cordials are rolling onto the shelves of major grocery retailers this week. Mott's is a division of Cadbury Beverages Canada Inc. that produces the Mott's Fruitsations, Mott's In-A-Minute, Welch's grape juice and Fry's Cocoa lines. Mott's will be teaming up with Black & Decker for a summer promotion in Ontario and with Hasbro Sales Inc. for a different summer promotion in Quebec and Western Canada. Working with Mott's on creating the summer promotions is Black Rock Marketing of Toronto.
