By Adnews Staff
Salon.com, an American website offerring daily coverage of news, technology, entertainment, books, parenting, sex, travel and health, has announced a U.S.-wide advertising campaign. Based on the slogan "Makes You Think", the campaign is scheduled to roll out in the last week in April with print ads in consumer magazines. The campaign was created by San Francisco-based ad agency Odiorne Wilde Narraway + Partners. Radio spots will launch shortly after that on a spot market basis, beginning with New York and San Francisco. Salon and OWN+P plan to create eight to 10 separate print advertisements in support of the campaign to run in such magazines as the New Yorker, the New York Times Sunday Magazine, Brill's Content, the Atlantic Monthly, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Wired and Fast Company. Salon.com was founded in November 1995.
