NCR LAUNCHES INTERNATIONAL CAMPAIGN

In an attempt to portray the company's philosophy as one of helping businesses get to know their customers by providing them with customized products and services, NCR Corporation of Dayton, Ohio is launching an international advertising campaign. The campaign is based on NCR's new tagline "Transforming transactions into relationships" and will be concentrated in cities in the U.S., U.K., Japan and Germany. The advertising campaign will be running in local newspapers, on television, on radio, on billboards, in trade publications, as Internet banners and point-of-sale systems. The creative component of the ad campaign, which is scheduled to run for eight weeks beginning this week with a second wave planned for later this year, is by Circus Communications of London, England. NCR Corp. is a provider of data warehouse solutions, ATM's, point-of-sale, high performance scanners and support services for retail, financial and national accounts markets.
