MERRILL LYNCH UNVEILS HUMAN ACHIEVEMENT

New York-based Merrill Lynch has unveiled its new global advertising campaign scheduled to begin today. The campaign is built on the theme of "Human Achievement" which will serve as the platform for the company's worldwide advertising efforts. The campaign was created by J. Walter Thompson of New York and is designed to launch in phases, the first beginning today with print ads appearing in major business publications and newspapers around the world. The television spots will begin airing on March 10 on major broadcast and cable channels. The second phase of the campaign features Merrill Lynch's U.S. Private Client group with a message to individual investors. Several television ads will address real-life financial issues. Several other Merrill Lynch business units will be focused upon as subsequent phases of the campaign are introduced over the next few months. A financial management and advisory company, Merrill Lynch has offices in 41 countries around the world.
