THE HUNT IS ON FOR SCANVENTURE

An old game returns with a new twist. Developed by three friends in the advertising industry, Scaventure is fashioned after the classic game scavenger hunt but with a few changes. For example, not only do players have to find items, they must also perform quirky feats of skills. Tasks range from finding a squashed pop can to throwing bologna at a team-mates forehead. To promote the game a poster and radio campaign is being planned for the spring/summer season. A Web site is also in development for the game. Also, in production is a second version of the game designed for children aged 6-13 years. The game is available at Dufferin Game Rooms, It Stores and specialty games stores across Canada and is being promoted at toy shows. PR for Scanventure is handled by DBA Communications of Toronto.
