Toronto-based Rogers Cantel Inc. announced it has enhanced its alphanumeric paging service with e-mail messaging. The new service, called Cantel AT&T E-mail2go, allows users to receive e-mail messages of up to 160 characters in length directly on the screen of their alphanumeric pagers. Brochures and user guides, created by MHZ Design Communications Inc. of Toronto, are being used to promote Rogers' E-mail2go service. Users can customize their own E-mail2go service and have messages copied to their home or office e-mail. The service also allows customers to filter messages by subject and/or sender. The E-mail2go package costs $3.95 and is added to the customer's monthly service fee, allowing for 300 messages each month. Each additional message cost $0.10. Only customers with an alphanumeric pager can use this service. Rogers Cantel, under the market Cantel AT&T, offers Canadians cellular, paging, interactive messaging, digital PCS and wireless data services.
