MAGAZINES CANADA HAS THE MAGADVANTAGE

Magazines Canada of Toronto will launch MagAdvantage, an interactive software program that demonstrates how and to what degree, the addition of magazines to a television-only plan can greatly increase the reach of a specific target audience. The software program allows planners to choose any product category and demographic profile that PMB measures to better understand how magazines can effectively fill the coverage gaps left by television, without any increase in media funding. MagAdvantage allows experimentation of how advertising dollars may be better allocated to provide more balanced coverage of a specific target audience. The software can be downloaded from the Internet to run on any Windows '95 (or higher) equipped computer. The program is available at Magazines Canada Web <http://www.magazinescanada.com>.
