ELLIS COMMUNICATIONS GETS HEALTHY

The Region of Durham Heart Health program has launched its DURHAM LIVES! Community Partners in Life, heart disease and cancer prevention program. The program identity and marketing campaign focus on three aspects: healthy eating, physical activity and smoke-free living. The campaign, which began this week, was created by Ellis Teichman Communications of Toronto and features print, radio, outdoor and washroom ads addressing each of the healthy lifestyle activities. Ellis won the account in a competition with a number of agencies. The marketing campaign also includes a "Sign up for Life" pledge program with a chance to win donated prizes for pledging to adopt a healthier lifestyle. The Durham program is one of a series of provincial cardiovascular disease prevention programs co-funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health.
