MARKETSPACE ACQUIRES DOUBLE THE WORKLOAD

MarketSpace of Toronto has started the new year by walking away with not one, but two account wins. Parmalat Canada of Toronto, parent company of Beatrice Foods, named MarketSpace, its agency of record late last year. The agency will develop new media strategies and an extensive Internet program to help Parmalat organize all of its brands under one umbrella. The various product Web sites developed by MarketSpace are expected to be ready by May. Bestfoods Canada of Toronto, hired MarketSpace to develop the company's first fully-Canadian Web site for all of its products. One of Bestfoods' flagship products, Hellmann's Mayonnaise, was selected as the test case for the Canadian site. It was developed by MarketSpace and made its debut on August 1. The fully integrated product site is currently in development. The promotional site should be available within a month. MarketSpace is a digital communications company specializing in new media strategies and Web site development, as well as CD-ROM and multimedia production.
