P&G ASSIGNMENTS STILL UP IN THE AIR

Cincinnati-based Procter & Gamble has done a global agency shift, but P&G in Canada has no information on how, or if, these changes will affect Canada. The packaged goods company will end its relationship with U.S.-based Euro RSCG Worldwide effective April 1 and handed the brands to other roster shops that handle P&G brands elsewhere in the world. Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising of New York will pick up the Head & Shoulders brand of shampoo in North America, and Old Spice deodorant in North America and Europe. Leo Burnett Co. of New York picks up global responsibility for Metamucil laxative. Agency assignments for Clearasil skincare products and Coast soap are yet to be announced.
