EYE WEEKLY SHOWING A NEW LOOK

Eye Weekly, an entertainment magazine based in Toronto, is making a few changes. Included in the new design is the introduction of weekly editorials on city issues, columns on federal politics, news photo features and political cartoons. Music and film industry beats covering local movers and shakers will now be included as well as more theatre and book coverage. A new five-star rating system for all reviews, a section called Wired Deals, a weekly, local-oriented horoscope and a food department with weekly restaurant reviews have also been incorporated into the weekly publication. In addition, a new logo, has been designed for the magazine. And, last but not least, advertisers will now have lower rates. In addition, Eye's distribution will increase to 105,000 copies. The magazine is available for free throughout the Toronto area.
