CABR ELECTS NEW BOARD

The Canadian Association of Broadcast Representatives has elected its board for the 1999/2000 year. Rita Fabian of the CTV Television Network has been elected president, Dave Bates of Canadian Broadcast Sales is radio vice-president and Geoff Thrasher of CBC Newsworld sits in the TV vice-president's chair. Marc Charlebois of Major Market Broadcasters is the secretary/treasurer and past president is Byron Garby of Integrated Media Sales. The radio directors are Leon Hildebrandt of Canadian Broadcast Sales and Dick Sienko of Target Broadcast Sales. Michael Cansick of Canvideo TV Sales, Suzanne Carpenter of YTV Canada and Debra McLaughlin of Airtime TV Sales are the TV directors.
