TOMMY HILFIGER TO OFFER JUNIOR LINE

New York-based Tommy Hilfiger U.S.A will target teenage girls and young women with its latest line of sportswear due on the North American market in August. Called Tommy by Tommy Hilfiger, the sportswear line will be housed on the junior's floor of department stores with its own separate shop concept. The line is targeted to 15 to 24-year-old women. In Canada, Tommy Hilfiger will promote the Tommy by Tommy Hilfiger line using advertising, although plans have not been confirmed. Arnell of New York will create the campaign, while Impact Advertising of Montreal will handle media buying.
