NEW RESTAURANT CHAIN MAY LOOK FOR AGENCY

W.I.N. Gaming Corp. of Toronto has signed a letter of intent to open Dave & Buster's restaurant/entertainment complexes in Canada and may look for an agency to help promote them. W.I.N. vice-president Simon Bramson told Adnews last week that the company may use the Canadian office of Dave & Buster's agency, if the agency has a Canadian office. If not, W.I.N. will look for a Canadian agency. The first restaurant will open in the greater Toronto area within the next 12 months. W.I.N. hopes to open at least one Dave & Buster's a year over the next few years. The locations will be scattered across Canada. Bramson said that Canada could probably handle about 12 of the complexes. Dave & Buster's restaurants are up to 70,000 square feet in size. Each restaurant houses a midway that features interactive and virtual reality games. The complexes are geared to adults, with children only being allowed in if they are accompanied by an adult. Dave & Buster's has 17 restaurants in the U.S.
