CIBC TO SUPPORT LONG DISTANCE PROGRAM

The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce will promote its CIBC Guaranteed Proof long distance calling program using direct marketing. The campaign will include statement inserts, direct mail and follow-up outbound telemarketing. The second wave of the campaign will begin in January, when additional services are added to the program. Under the Guaranteed Proof program, CIBC Aerogold, Gold and Vacationgold Visa cardholders are guaranteed long distance rates of 10% less than the plans offered by AT&T Canada, Sprint Canada and the Stentor group of companies. Early next year, the program will also be offered to all other CIBC Visa cardholders. To launch the service, CIBC teamed up with eForce of Toronto, which provides integrated marketing applications through partnerships with technology providers in Canada and the U.S. The direct marketing campaign for Guaranteed Proof was handled by eForce.
