WOLF GROUP GETS NEW LEADER

Gerry Frascione has been named chief executive officer of the Wolf Group of Toronto. The appointment is effective Jan. 1. Previously he was at Leo Burnett Co. of Toronto for 15 years. His most recent position was executive vice-president and chief client service director. "I bring to Wolf Group a determination to ensure that all of our work reflects a sense of urgency to achieve client objectives," Frascione says in a release. "I believe leadership is providing the example of how talented people work as teams to solve business problems in ways that exceed our best efforts of yesterday. I am committed to finding the best people, making a substantial commitment to their professional development and encouraging creativity in all our disciplines." Larry and Mary Wolf, chairman and vice-chairman respectively of Wolf Group, will continue to lead the executive teams in Canada and the U.S. The Wolf Group has offices in New York, Rochester and Buffalo, all in New York, as well as in Cleveland, Ohio. Its client list includes Kodak Canada, Astro Dairies, Pfizer, Guardian Mutual Funds, Spiegel, Haagan Dazs and Arrow shirts.
