STAR CHOICE ADDS CHANNELS

Star Choice Communications of Toronto is finishing off the new year with 16 additional channels. The new national specialty channels are: the Food Network, Prime TV, CNBC and the Star Choice Information Channel. The new channels in eastern Canada are ATV, which offers local CTV programming in Halifax and Sydney, Nova Scotia, as well as in Moncton and Saint John, New Brunswick; CFCF; ONtv and CFMT, a multilingual channel. The new channels available in western Canada are: CKND; VTV and CICT. The new ethnic programming service includes: The Korean Community Radio; Odyssey Television, a Greek-language TV network featuring news and entertainment; Sur Sgar, offering 24-hour Indo Canadian radio programming in Punjabi, Hindi and English; Apna Sangeet, a cultural and family channel for the Punjabi communities in Vancouver and AgCast Canada, a station offering agricultural news, weather and commodity markets listings. The new channels will be responsible for promoting their presence on Star Choice.
