HASBRO HELPING KIDS GROW THEIR CHRISTMAS LIST

U.S.-based Hasbro Inc. is promoting a slew of new kids toys and games for Christmas using North American TV campaigns. Under the creative play toys, Hasbro has introduced commercials for such toys as the Easy Bake Oven, Lite Brite, Play-Doh McDonaldland Happy Meal and Ice Cream Playshop playsets. Under the Playschool name, Hasbro launched commercials for such toys as the Barney Banjo, Gloworm and the Ice Cream Cart. In Canada, the spots for the creative play toys were created by Griffin Bacal Inc. of New York. Palmer Jarvis DDB's Toronto office adapted the ads for the Canadian market and handled the Canadian media buy. The ads for the Playschool toys were created by Grey Advertising of New York. Optimedia of Toronto adapted the ads for the Canadian market and handled the Canadian media buy.
