BBDO ON A WINNING STREAK

Toronto-based BBDO Canada has won three new pieces of business in the last three months. Its most recent win is The Globe and Mail account. The agency won the business in late October after a competition with three other agencies. The incumbent on the business was Brandworks International of Toronto. The Globe and Mail decided to hire a new agency because it felt it needed a larger agency to deal with the newspaper war with the launch of the National Post. Since August, BBDO has won the Scotiabank and the Beef Information Centre accounts. Earlier last summer, the agency won the Bell Canada business.
