GINGKO SHOWS OFF FIRST OLC WORK

The Gingko Group launched its first TV commercials earlier this month for the Ontario Lottery Corp. The first commercial promotes the Ontario 49 game. The spot is designed to position the game as a fun way to spend 50 cents, which could turn the player into a millionaire. The commercial features a sequence of a man on a vibrating bed and a sentimental scene of a grown man riding a coin-operated horse. Tying it together is a demonstration of how to play and the potential benefit of being a winner. The second commercial is for the new scratch 'n win game called Strike It Rich. The spot shows two undercover officers watching a player scratch his ticket and telling the audience about the range of prizes you could win. As the player realizes he's a winner, the undercover officers do as well, and begin celebrating in the undercover van. The campaign for the Strike It Rich game will also use point-of-sale materials. The Gingko Group won the OLC business last August.
