TODAY'S PARENT BUYS KIDSUMMER PROGRAM
By Adnews Staff
Today's Parent Group of Toronto has bought the Kidsummer program from Toronto Life magazine. Kidsummer has been serving parents and children each summer for 12 years. It offers a calendar of free events throughout July and August. Toronto Life publisher Bill Duron says in a release that the company wanted to sell Kidsummer so it could focus on adult-oriented events. Today's Parent Group bought the program because it will increase its presence in the family market and the company will be able to promote itself directly to its target market, Today's Parent founder Beverly Topping says in a release. Today's Parent publishes 14 magazines.
