LAND ROVER TO PUT BIGGER FOCUS ON CANADA
By Adnews Staff
Land Rover Canada wants to give its vehicles a bigger push in Canada. The car maker has hired its first Canadian creative agency, Holmes & Lee of Toronto. The agency won the business without a review. It has been doing some project work for Land Rover. Until now, Canadian advertising for Land Rover would be created by the company's U.S. agency, Grace & Rothschild of New York, while Gaggi Media of Toronto would handle the media portion of the account. Land Rover decided to hire a Canadian agency because it felt it needed the local agency support, Land Rover managing director Pascal Mismaque says in a release. Holmes & Lee will work with Grace & Rothschild to create North American advertising. Holmes will also handle Canadian creative. The Media Company of Toronto will now work on the media portion of the account.
