SIGNATURE HANGS HAT WITH BRAINSTORM

The Brainstorm Group of Toronto has another travel company under its belt. The agency recently won the Toronto-based Signature Vacations account after a competition with incumbent MacPhee Jesson of Toronto. Brainstorm was already handling advertising for Sunflight Holidays, which was bought by Signature earlier this year. "Their strategic thinking and creative solutions clearly showed they could handle both brands, while ensuring relevant differentiation in the market," spokesperson Nicole DeWilde says in a release. The agency launched a campaign for Signature earlier this month using newspaper and trade ads. Radio ads and possibly wall murals will be added later this fall. A campaign for Sunflight will begin in mid-October. It will use outdoor, newspaper and radio ads, as well as direct contact with travel agents.
