NEW MAGAZINE FOR JOB SEEKERS

Target Student Marketing of Toronto is getting into the magazine business. The firm will launch a magazine in October that will advertise job openings to graduating university students. Called Job Postings, the monthly magazine will be distributed to 20,000 university students who are in their last year of studying commerce, IT and engineering. Job Postings will be available at 36 universities across Canada. Companies can list their job openings, and there will also be limited advertising for product advertisements. Target was formed in 1994. Each year, it also distributes 74,000 wall calendars that are placed in university residences housing at least 1,000 students. The wall calendars carry ads.
