STAR CHOICE GOES WITH TORONTO AGENCY

The Star Choice Television Network of New Brunswick is moving its marketing operations to Toronto, and decided to hire a Toronto agency to handle its advertising. The direct-to-home satellite company gave its account to Leo Burnett Co. of Toronto without a review. Star Choice spoke to other agencies, but Leo Burnett had approached Star Choice to pitch the business. The incumbent on the account is Simpson, Gilbert, Chambers of New Brunswick. Star Choice spokesperson Sara Pacey told Adnews last week that SGC will be used if Star Choice wants to do some advertising that would specifically target consumers in the Maritimes.
