THE GLOBE AND MAIL ADDS SECTION FOR TECHNO-ENTHUSIASTS
By Adnews Staff
The Globe and Mail is making more changes. The national daily newspaper has added a weekly technology section that will focus on such things as breaking industry news, software reviews, investing opportunities and profiles on up-and-coming technology companies. In addition, The Globe's technology affiliate, Globe Information Services, has launched a Web site that will offer daily news reports, product reviews, investing analysis, reference tools and access to a database of career opportunities. The site will feature a searchable archive of technology articles from the newspaper, an index of top technology stocks updated daily, news bytes from the world of technology and a discussion forum. Since 1995, The Globe and Mail has been making changes to the newspaper. It has expanded the Report on Business section, increased the Sports coverage, added color, as well as a daily Leisure feature to its Arts section and created a weekly Personal Health section.
