PROCTER & GAMBLE TOUTS PEPTO-BISMOL

Toronto-based Procter & Gamble Corp. launched a TV campaign last week to promote its Pepto-Bismol stomach remedy. The ad features a man's stomach that looks like its been twisted and punched from the inside to depict the discomfort people experience when they suffer from a stomach problem. A wall of pink liquid slowly descends the screen, visually showing how Pepto-Bismol gets rid of the stomach problem. In addition, a pair of pink hands rub the man's stomach to experience the relief he experiences. The ad was created by Leo Burnett Co. of Toronto.
