DANIER TO INCREASE AD SPEND IN THE FALL

Toronto-based Danier Leather opened a new factory outlet store in Woodbridge, Ont. earlier this summer and plans to boost the advertising for the store in the fall. General manager Linda Montalbano told Adnews last week that it decided to increase the advertising at that time because the campaign would pack more punch in the fall/winter season. The store will be promoted using print ads created in-house. Danier sells leather and suede clothing for men and women. The Woodbridge outlet is 8,000 square feet in size and also features a Leather Craft outlet, which specializes in cleaning, shower-proofing, repairing and altering leather and suede garments. Danier Leather operates five factory outlets in the Toronto area, in Ajax, Toronto, Mississauga, Markham and now Woodbridge.
