HARRY ROSEN TO OPERATE HUGO BOSS OUTLETS

Harry Rosen Inc. of Toronto has teamed up with men's apparel giant Hugo Boss of Germany to open Hugo Boss shops in the U.S. beginning in September. The first store will be 3,500 square feet in size and will be located in Troy, Michigan. Over the next two to three years, Harry Rosen will open Hugo Boss boutiques in Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Manhasset, Denver and White Plains, New York. Upscale men's retailer Harry Rosen will own and operate the locations in a franchise agreement. Advertising for the stores will be created in-house by Hugo Boss. Harry Rosen will handle media buying in-house. Privately-owned Harry Rosen operates 19 stores in Canada and Buffalo, New York. Hugo Boss already has stand-alone stores in the U.S. They are in Washington, D.C., Costa Mesa, California, Bal Harbour, Florida, Beverly Hills and Century City, both in California, Las Vegas, King of Brusia, Pennsylvania, Short Hills, New Jersey and Dallas.
