Toronto-based Molson Breweries is promoting its Old Vienna brand of beer in its latest promotion. Under the promotion, the brewery will give away a Generation III fishing boat, a 40 horsepower motor and custom painted trailer at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition in Thunder Bay, Ont. People have a chance to qualify for the prize beginning July 6 through licensed premises and community events. A total of 45 people will qualify to win the package through a final elimination draw on Aug. 9. Consumers will also have a chance to win various prizes using an instant-win scratch card in cases of Old Vienna. The prizes include Lucky Strike fishing lures, hats, T-shirts and rain hats, as well as four grand prizes of an OV boat, motor and trailer package. The promotion will be supported using local newspaper ads and point-of-purchase materials in licensed establishments. The campaign will be created in-house.
