TD BACKS BLOCK PARENTS

Toronto Dominion Bank is moving a step closer to the people by becoming the national sponsor of Block Parent Program of Canada Inc. The bank will have material on the plan to make communities safer for children in all its branches, and is trying out neighborhood party theme kits in three communities. The 25-year-old program has about 350,000 Block Parent homes across Canada, in 1,200 communities.
