By Adnews Staff
Unibroue of Montreal introduced its first Pilsner-type beer to the Quebec market this week. Called U beer, the brew will be the first in a full-line of low-fermentation Pilsner beer. It has an alcohol content of 4.9% and is available in packs of six and 12. U beer will be promoted using print ads beginning next week. The campaign will be created by BOS of Montreal. Unibroue plans to launch a red and a brown beer within the next two years. Unibroue markets nine other brands of beer. All of them are high-fermentation brews that are fermented in tanks, as well as in the bottles.
