WAL-MART POISED TO OPEN NEW STORES

Mississauga-based Wal-Mart Canada Inc. plans to build two new stores which will open this fall. The department store giant, who's advertising focuses on the friendly staff and low prices, the two new stores will be in addition to the four stores in Sherwood Park, and South Edmonton in Alberta and Scarborough and Niagra Falls both located in Ontario. With these six openings, there will be 150 Wal-Mart stores across Canada and will employ over 27,000. The new Wal-Mart stores are being promoted using flyers created in-house and PR done by National Public Relations of Toronto.
