MORE THAN JUST COLOR FOR THE NEW GLOBE
By Adnews Staff
The Globe & Mail, Canada's only national-daily has been staging an aggressive advertising campaign utilizing mostly billboards and external bus advertisements. For 150 years, the Globe & Mail has been Canada's only national, daily newspaper. However, with the launch of Conrad Black's new paper, the Globe & Mail will be facing competition where they previously haven't. While the paper has experienced an increase in circulation over the past four years, it still feels a need to take the paper through a design change. "Some have characterized this upcoming change as merely the addition color to the Globe," publisher and CEO, Roger Parkinson said. "But we intend a more integrated advancement of both content and design."
