Goodis was founder of Goodis, Goldberg, Soren in 1956, which merged with MacLaren Intermart. The agency is best known for slogans such as "At Speedy, You're a Somebody," and "Harvey's Makes Your Hamburger a Beautiful Thing." Goodis formed the Jerry Goodis Education Group in 1985. He is a visiting professor of marketing and entrepreneurship and entrepreneur-in-residence at several Canadian community colleges.
