By Adnews Staff
U.S.-based Kodak Corp. will put its third digital camera on the North American market at the end of the month. Called the DC200, Kodak is billing the camera as being low-priced and having "megapixel" image quality. The camera offers a million pixels per image. Kodak's Digital Science 2.0 software is bundled with the camera, allowing users to make basic corrections, e-mail and print their pictures to the Kodak picture network and Kodak Image Magic print service. The DC200 comes with finished file capability to transfer pictures from the camera to a computer, TV/video output capability so users can view the pictures on a video monitor or TV and a 4MG Compact Flash removable memory card which stores up to 60 pictures. The DC200 weighs 11 ounces. In Canada, the camera will be promoted using in-store materials created in-house.
