HALIFAX TO BOOST AWARENESS AND CONFIDENCE

The Greater Halifax Partnership will team up with the local media for the second year in a row to promote the city as well-positioned for growth and future success. The organization also wants to build up community confidence. The campaign will begin next month and will use TV, print, radio, outdoor and transit, as well as a Web site. It will be created by the CCL Group of Halifax. The Greater Halifax Partnership joined forces with several local magazine and newspaper outlets, as well as TV and radio stations to promote the city last year. The new campaign will use the same theme as last year, which is Smart City. Media outlets involved in the project include Atlantic Progress magazine, ATV/ASN, the Global Television Network, 920CJOH/C100 radio, Country 101/Oldies 96, the Chronicle Herald/Mail Star, The Daily News, NCC Specialty Publications. and the Metro Radio Group, which includes 780 KIXX, Q104 and SUN FM. The Greater Halifax Partnership is the growth partnership for the Halifax Regional Municipality. It has a mandate to market and promote the region. Investors in the partnership include the local business community, the Halifax Regional Municipality and the provincial and federal governments.
