GUARDIAN PROMOTES RISK MANAGEMENT

Toronto-based Guardian Mutual Funds launched a national campaign recently to tell consumers it focuses on risk management, as well as results when it comes to managing its clients investments. The campaign uses national TV ads, as well as ads in The Financial Post and The Globe and Mail newspapers and in Report on Business, Financial Post and Maclean's magazines. Trade ads are also being used. In addition, Guardian has a large mural in downtown Toronto featuring a man paddling a canoe into the path of a large ship. The headline says, "Undue risk. Easy to avoid. Hard to escape." The campaign was created by The Wolf Group of Toronto.
