INTERNATIONAL CENTRE GETS A FACELIFT
By Adnews Staff
The International Centre has given itself a new look. The centre unveiled a new logo this week that it says represents the idea that events at the centre "offer a window to the world of products, markets and entertainment." The new logo features a stylized "I" with a partially visible globe. A circling red "C" creates a feeling of movement or change to reinforce the advantage of its proximity to the airport. In addition, the International Centre is enhancing the look of the building, including new entrance signs, color coded way finding systems, festive outdoor banners and electronic message signs. New landscaped areas have also been added, and wider roadways and sidewalks have been installed to relieve traffic congestion. The new design was developed by design consultants Yabu Pushelberg, architectural firm Wallman Clewes Bergman and sign specialists Entro Communications, all of Toronto. Adams + Associates of Toronto created the new logo.
