BELL MOBILITY OPENS ONE-STOP SHOPPING OUTLETS

Toronto-based Bell Mobility opened three retail outlets last month to sell products and services from Bell Mobility, Bell Canada, ExpressVu and Sympatico. Called TotalCom, the stores offer a one-stop shopping environment for telecom products and services. Features of the stores include a full range of Bell Mobility products such as cellular phones, PCS, pagers, satellite and wireless data solutions, calling cards, Smart Touch services and a variety of landline hardware. In addition, the stores sell Internet service from Sympatico and ExpressVu's direct-to-home satellite TV service. The stores are located in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. Bell plans to open another Toronto outlet early this year. Bell will promote the stores through advertising beginning later this year. It will be created by Cossette Communication-Marketing of Toronto.
