DUNKIN HAS SHORT LIST

Dunkin' Donuts of Randolph, Massachusetts has pared its short list down to six New York agencies from at least 20 original contenders. They are: Cliff Freeman & Partners, FCB/Leber Katz Partners, Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners, Lowe & Partners/SMS, Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer Euro RSCG and TBWA Advertising. A decision is expected by late September. The Canadian division of Dunkin' Donuts says it isn't affected by the review. Advertising for the 220 Canadian outlets is done by PALM Publicité of Montreal. Dunkin' Donuts is owned by British-based Allied Domecq.
