RCOC GOES WITH ONE AGENCY

The Chris Hughes Company of Toronto launched a trade print campaign earlier this month for the Retirement Counsel of Canada. The agency was given the business last month without a review. CHC had been working with the company for just over three months to test out the relationship, agency client services director Julie Hughes told Adnews this week. "We were impressed with the depth and breadth of the retail and franchise experience of The Chris Hughes Company" RCOC president Paul Tyers says in a release. Until now, RCOC didn't do much advertising, but when it did, the ads were either created in-house, or by various freelancers. The financial planning firm decided to hire an agency now because it wants to open more branches, beginning in Ontario, then across Canada. Currently, RCOC has 30 branches across the country. It wants to operate about 100 branches within the next two years.
