GUARDIAN TALKS ABOUT MANAGING RISKS

Toronto-based Guardian Mutual Funds is telling Canadians that investing can be risky, but that the risk can be managed effectively. The company launched a national TV, radio and print campaign this week to promote its risk management process. The ads target financial intermediaries and investors. The campaign is similar to a campaign that Guardian ran last year. The company used TV ads for the first time last year and is using them again because it feels TV helped the company establish a strong presence that set it apart from other mutual fund companies, sales and marketing vice-president John Boeckh says in a release. The campaign was created by the Wolf Group of Toronto.
