BATON TO BUY UP THE REST OF CTV

Toronto-based Baton Broadcasting Inc. wants the whole thing. The broadcaster has struck a deal to buy the remainder of the CTV Television Network from WIC Western International Communications and Moffat Communications. Baton will pay $42 million for the 42.9% share. WIC owns 28.6% of CTV and Moffat owns 14.2%. Baton owns 57.1%.
